TGSS PLAN, release 2.3.4

PLAN 2.3.4 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of PLAN version 2.3.4, introducing significant enhancements to the TGSS Mission Planning System.

This update includes:

• A new machine learning–driven optimizer based on stochastic (genetic) algorithms, enabling more efficient and flexible schedule generation;
• Extended user request capabilities, including support for recurring requests (e.g., image acquisition every 4 hours or scheduled updates every Monday);
• User request statuses based on the percentage of image coverage of the requested area;
• Improved communication with the FD system through parallel request handling;
• Possibility of an automatic merging of image acquisition areas when overlap exceeds a user-defined threshold.

These improvements further strengthen PLAN’s ability to deliver intelligent, automated mission planning.
