ORBIT v1.0

Orbit v1.0 has been released.

The Flight Dynamics operations supported by the current release are:

• Ingestion and update of several environment files provided by external agencies and used to model the Earth physical properties (e.g. Earth Orientation Parameters, leap seconds, Solar Flux data etc.)
• Propagation of the spacecraft orbit forward and backward in time subject to a set of configurable force models (e.g. geopotential, atmospheric drag, solar radiation pressure, luni-solar perturbations, ocean and solid tides). Additionally, it supports impulsive and finite maneuvers with chemical propulsion.
• Prediction of several orbital events (e.g. ascending and descending node crossing times, apogee and perigee crossing times, umbra and penumbra crossing times for Earth and Moon eclipses, ground stations AOS/LOS, South Atlantic Anomaly crossing times, etc.)
• Management and visualization of generated FD products (e.g. orbit files, event files, CCSDS OEM, etc.)
