We proudly announce that CCS5 has been selected for the CNES/UK Space Agency MicroCarb project.Terma has been contracted by spacecraft prime contractor Thales Alenia Space UK to deliver a turn-key Central Checkout System to support the spacecraft AIT phase. The aim of the project is to launch an Earth Observation satellite to monitor and characterize CO2 surface fluxes in 2021.
This comes after Terma was earlier selected by Airbus Defence & Space of Toulouse, France as part of an industrial consortium to provide the MicroCarb instrument (spectrometer) check-out system based on our TSC product and including a MatLab based Quick Look tool.
